By 1898, the population of Dawson City had grown from zero to 10,000. This made Dawson the largest city west of Winnipeg and north of San Francisco. This database was developed from a wide variety of sources, government records, printed books, corporate records, newspapers, etc., and lists people who lived in Dawson from 1896-1920.
